Efren 1 Posted October 25, 2015 In Spain it is called "petanca". In Venezuela "mingus" to the small ball. Good shot. Link to comment
Jack McRitchie 150 Posted October 25, 2015 Brilliant use of the three metallic, inscribed spheres and what appears to be a grungy tennis balls. Superb tone throughout and a strong composition. The tracks in the wet ground only deepen the sense of mystery An altogether masterful picture. Link to comment
Not Here 93 Posted October 29, 2015 Look guys, I'm not looking for any trouble but I do know some Asian words. Great catch that invites interpretation... Mike Link to comment
kazimir 5 Posted November 5, 2015 Many thanks on your good, elaborate comment - I also like these geometric, almost abstract patterns altough there is actually nothing misterious...All the best!!! Link to comment
kazimir 5 Posted November 5, 2015 Interpretation : two teams are throwing balls in order who will get closer to the small ball (target). Marks on the ground are positions of the balls so if they are moved for any reason other than valid shot the balls can be put on their original place...Nothing mysterious and no letters (especially not Asian)...Altough, mistery is what have you read to be that upset...All the best!!! Not Here 93 Posted November 5, 2015 LOL, no, just a lack of communication on my part. The incomplete reference I made was part of a joke where a small person is confronted by larger opponents; hence the reference to martial arts in the form of "Asian words". Sorry for the confusion, I'll be more literal with my humor ;-)... Mike Link to comment
