During the summer, this woods is thick with stinging nettles, which reach about 4 feet high.  Now, in the fall, the leaves of the nettles are falling off, leaving a tangled array of delicate stalks.

Most of the people would walking by, in the  field and  in this  posting, seeing not to much in the image. In the  contrary, it  has a lots of fine detail,  the  fine lines  of  the  bush in the  forest, the bare  tree stumps and more  green at the background. You must see this  image  in a large  mode to appreciate  the fine details  of  those  greens. You where  brew  to stop and  shoot,  because  in life  you have seen the  delicate  lines of those  greens, and  brave to post  it for  comments. I would call it, simple, but, excellent.

Thank you very much for your comment, Bela.  Its amazing how much the scenery changes with the seasons.  I'm glad someone else besides me is stimulated by the fine textures of this scene.  A large print is even more impressive!

I see Bela has the same appreciation of your work as I do. He's right, most would walk right by without notice as they searched for something interesting to shoot. It's the composition here that works especially well for me, the green shrubbery dominating the center of the picture almost like a floating green mist. the border of angled trees serves both as contrast to the tangled, Jackson Pollack look of the nettles and as stark exclamation marks, anchoring the composition in place.
