It's funny how we give boats both names and personalities, which makes it sad to see them go.  Good shot... Mike

You are right.Here,aside from what is affinity/attachment to the Island,boats often bear the name of family members and sometimes both names of the couple who are the not only the owners but captain and crew .This old one was hauled here where it will rot away slowly....and remain a good photo prop in different seasons.It was lucky to end this way as the custom here is for one that has reached the end of its technical life to be sacrificed by being burnt at sea at the close of the fishing season.
