moon eclipse Under the Dipper!

To highlight the presence of the Big Dipper next to the Red Moon,I

magnified(slightly) the individual stars.I had not intended to capture

this but Christoph's comment on a sister shot led me to look through

my images for one where the Dipper was more visible.What do you think?

Laurent, the moon was in Pisces during the eclipse, which is well away from the Big Dipper, so the stars here are not part of the dipper.

You captured nice colors on the moon.  I'm glad you had clear skies!

The forecasted re-happening of this red eclipse is said to be in 2033;I hope that I am still around to snap a few shots.....when I am 89 and I will expect your comment then,my friends.
