I really like what you did here Len. The vertical composition works very well with the placement of the two Waxwings on the branches. And I like how the angle of their heads compliment one another. The light and clarity is pristine as is the color. All in all this image is a wonderful representation of art derived from the natural world. Great work indeed! Best regards my friend, Rob

Persistence rewards! That, and being in the right place at the right time, the right time being just before sunset.  I had never seen such abundance of waxwings and activity before.  Must have been a hatching of flying insects as these birds flew back & forth over the marsh for hours picking them out of the air.  I took home a few keepers that day. These waxwings (and many others) put on a fine performance for me that evening.  Luckily for me they tired once in a while and perched on this dead tree to reboot before flying off to capture more flying insects.  Best, Len.
