A very good picture, but the human figure looks too modern, he disturbs comparing to the antique look of the city, ciao Giangiorgio

Thank you Maurizio and Giangiorgio. I do agree that the boy in the picture is too modern dressed, but on the other side he tells us that in this ancient city people still lives and works in the old buildings and caves. And of course you also have all the tourists. Like me.

Mediterranean in the best light! I'm aware that it was impossible to avoid the merging of the church and the rocky top of the hill! However, wonderful Mediterranean mood of the past! Bravo Eystein! I only envy you!

Thank you Pierre. The church is a part of the hill. Build into the rock. That's how Matera is. I recommend you to take a trip. I was there i 2010, but maybe I will go back sometime.
