Not Here 93 Posted September 17, 2015 I wonder if birds meditate. If they do then this is a perfect opportunity. Well captured... Mike Link to comment

thadley 15 Posted September 17, 2015 Lovely shot. There is some 'negative space at the bottom which could be cropped but then you will not have that airy and spacious feel. If I crop it, it gives a different image - not better but different. I have done a crop, adjusted the color balance and saturated with +8 PS simply for your evaluation, All the best, Link to comment
Tony Brandstetter 814 Posted September 17, 2015 Silhouetting of the bird are in view right now, I was going to grab a cocktail but this stopped me, it must be important to keep me from my booze.I like the fatty bottom, we notice two different tones developing, it changes at mid branch. In Tony's rendition you really can not see that transition, yours, you can, it works it's way up, you can see it develop. The branch use as a frame is well done, the lines keeps our eyes moving, the silhouette keeps us engaged. Link to comment
cegeiss 6 Posted September 18, 2015 It's hard to pick a favorite. I prefer the original composition. It gives more space to the birds, and I like the fact that the branch is not growing out of the corner but is placed slightly higher. And then Tony saturated it a little bit ... I was perfectly fine with the original colors, which I find subtle and appealing, but the warmer, more saturated colors, I think, win me over..In any case, a wonderful image.Christoph Link to comment
