It's sad to see "houses" become derelict, but I have to remember that they're really just a shell for the "home" that's inside.   This house must have been occupied within the past few years, those icicle lights on the eave haven't been out too long.  A real emotive image, well done... Mike

I have known this house for ages.Back in the late 40's/early 50's,home was a small house a stone's throw up the road from this and I remember Mr.Gibbs going by every day by horse and buggy(summer) and horse and sleigh(winter) with the mail pickup;nowadays,I go by occasionally when I visit my mother who still spends her summers alone at the cottage even at the ripe age of 92.As far as I know, the house was abandoned for many years after the Gibbs passed and then it was purchased by the present owner who used it as a summer home and obviously spent some winters there given the Christmas lights....but sadly, it is now going so is the big barn, the biggest in the area.Good memories!

Meilleures salutations-Laurent
