Crimean anchor rescued by Captain Sir William Peel RN, VC, KCB.

in 1855. The anchor belonged to a captured Russian ship of the

Crimean War. This can be found just inside Holloway Lodge gate in

Tamworth Castle grounds, without inscription. All comments very

welcome, thank you.
