Breathtaking scenery!! Interesting how the reflection (and the frame you chose) brings the distant hill top right in front of our feet.

It's almost time for this scene to play again.  Beautiful landscape and reflections.  The low cloud is dessert... Mike

Tony,  My, the colors in your neck of these woods are already quite peaked.  Wonderful image.  You caught some great fog and a perfect reflection here too.  You must have been up early to get this.  I checked Mt. Tremblant on the map, and it appears to be a nice trip north (explains the colors) for a weekend of few days from Montreal.  It is certainly a beautiful and remote park.  You have been duly rewarded with this image.  As an other idea, using the same image, you might crop out the sky.  It would change the effect, but might up the drama of the impact of the image.  Just a thought.  This is another of your terrific images.  Larry

Michail, Mike M, Patsy, AJ, Jim, Gregory and Larry - Thanks for stopping by and commenting This is  always appreciated. If you check the details tab, you will notice that it was taken last year at the peak of the fall colors in parc tremblant Quebec. I usually spend a few days in this park and end up with hundreds of images. This is one that I did not share before. Sometimes, one year later, I am more mature and my taste buds have changed a bit so I thought I would dust it off and present it here.

I just want to mention that Jim Cowan is from Ontario Canada and has been visiting this park for a few years. We met a couple of years ago and he was kind enough to show me some of his spots in this park.  Perhaps we will run into each other this year.

Larry, I was torn between a perfect symmetry with blue at the top and blue at the bottom. In the end, I chose to have a narrow band of blue at the top and none at the bottom. My theory is that the blue gives a kind of visual contrast to the scene and lets the viewer know that it was a crystal clear sky at that time.  I do appreciate your comment.

There are so many spots in the "North East' for fall colors but this parc (French spelling) is becoming a favorite of mine.   Here is another one that I took here that I have printed.

And here is a panorama from the same scene.

Interesting and coloful shot. I think I would lose the sky at the top. It doesn't add a lot and the the image would fully reflect itself and the colors. Very well seen and shot.
