Deserted Strip Mall (B&W)

You had mentioned the black sections on the columns in the color version of this shot. I think they are much more obvious in the BW. They make a perforated line that almost goes completely across the center of the photo. Did you purposefully have them on a straight line/ i.e. level or is that just a happy accident? Very cool.
