St. Johns in Color

Large view available. This is a crop of a slide taken - yes with film -

in 2003. I am posting it because of the colors and down home look

of the neighborhood. This matches Newfoundland's wonderful

down home people. Hope you are pleased that I visited by archive

for this image. Larry

Personally I like these type of images Larry. I even like breaking them down to certain streets within a neighborhood. But here you have a large section of houses with many great colors and it would make me want to walk around the area and get the feel of the town. Looks great and thanks for sharing this.

When I first saw it I wondered what camera you used, now I know.  The colours are so representative of St. John's. I think it is great that you used your slide. Old memories still have a place in today's images.

Hi Gail,   First congratulations on winning the PN photo contest.  Your rose image is most worthy.  I took this image with an Olympus OM4 film camera, hence the slide.  I appreciate your looking at it and commenting.  Larry
