Elephant Art Part II

I was a bit of each when a Thai friend insisted we visit this elephant

(camp/preserve or whatever?). I had no idea that elephants were capable of this

sort of artistry. The paintings seemed to be going from $75 to $300 depending

on amount of detail and subject matter. Chinese tourists were the most active

buyers which may explain the greeting in Chinese characters on the upper left

painting.

We think this is amazing! Do you know if it they are trained to fill in spaces? You gave us a good impression of elephant art.As far as price is concerned, we pay much more for people art and it is very questionable sometimes.

It totally amazes me and I'd like to research this a bit to find out just how the elephants can do this. I know they can reason as far as counting etc. and solve mathematic type problems.  The prices don't surprise me either Jim.
