I really like the subject matter in the shot but am confused on the composition ... the dock post is conflicting against the lobster traps.  I wonder if you had stepped to the left and made more of focus on the post or used the traps in the foreground by stepping to the right? ... thank you for sharing with the PN community

I liked the sign to give the shot a specific sense of place. The lobster traps were important to me because wooden traps are now such a rarity. They are usually only seen in boutique antique shops.
