I like the colours and the detail and I would have been attracted to this scene too. It caught my attention when scrolling through this morning. There are probably a lot of memories associated with this house. Best wishes.

Laurent,  You have captured and presented this old house well.  From the looks of the curtains it appears that it could be lived in today.  Is it?  Excellent composition.  The detail in the shingles and shutters as they contrast with the grass,  the other significant element in the image is wonderful.  Larry

This is a regular in my photo rounds on the Island.The Beaudin House dates back to 1884 as I was told by a family member whom has fond memories of the place as a youngster and now comes around regularly for summer vacation,although the tall grass indicates that nobody was here this summer.Thank you for looking in and for the observation.

Thank you kindly.As I noted to Garry above,it is now used as a summer place but a great photo subjet for me in all seasons;it occupies a few spots in my Architecture folder.
