Maria, as an Architect I truly appreciate the artistic value of structural forms. This image is an excellent example of how these forms can interleave visually, creating patterns of shadow and light in a color image of a nearly monochromatic scene. I particularly like that there are no windows with blown-out sunlight or skylight. If I were to recreate this, I would shoot at the lowest available ISO (100 for the D3000), use a smaller f-stop (f/8 or f/11) for greater depth of field, and make sure I was on a tripod to compensate with longer exposure. But, this is your image, so your choices rule. Well done!
