Beautiful colors and composition!

I like the composition, the sharpness and the colors. The black bachground is a brand to make the colors shine. But for me it makes the overall impression too hard and I would never hang such a photo on my wall. Hope this comment is helpful. Karl

One aspect of art, is that everyone has a different view (aspect) of it. For me, I have tried many different backgrounds, and seen others use as well. I use the black because for me it concentrates the view of the bloom, which is the subject. Anything else seems to simply distract. I don't expect every one's tastes to be the same, and that's ok. Thanks for taking the time to comment and share your views. We always enjoy your shots of Switzerland.

Gregory, thanks for this feedback. In my favorite images there are some flower photos, where the background is mastered in an extraordinary way. I think you two have the potential to achieve similar results. We keep in touch! Karl
