The low angle of shoot is perfect, composition is perfect too. A very good B&W processing made this image very good.

I, too, like the POV.  It gives him an even loftier podium from which to rule.  As always, the tones and detail are excellent, down to the flies circling him....  Mike

Thanks very much gentlemen.

Although I obviously like this image, (I'm fond of cows in general) - I'm not entirely happy with the technical quality here.  It's not as sharp as I'm seeing in Lightroom - and there's some fringing around the bull, which may be a lens aberration, or just a bit of rim lighting.  So, I'll probably re-process this at some point.

Mike - leave it to you to spot the flies!  Man, you have good eyes . . .

Best, David

a considered and respectful image showcasing the grand creature in all glory and scale; maybe even enough of a statement to turn any self-respecting carnivore to reconsider his ways --- it’s odd to think of this fine animal as supermarket meat.

I’m with you in further processing/cleaning the picture --- the fringe issues are noticeable and the central character merits all attention you can give it --- still your choices carry all the drama needed to keep the viewer engaged!

Thanks much Carlos -

Yep, he's a wonderful beast.  At least this is a free range operation, (no feed lots) - so it's a pretty good life for awhile . . .

Best, David
