The silvery tonalities are great, but there is also a wonderful sense of fluid motion in the composition.

ONe of the best flower shot I've ever seen. Amazing composition. It is so rich in details and my eyes keep trying to find more and more. Beautiful conversion as well.

Beautifully done Hanna. This is remarkable. Excellent composition, excellent detail, beautiful tonality. It's very nice to see this still being done. I commend you. Now, if you could just do it on film.... ;.)

Thankyou all so very much for your generous comments. I guess they answer the question with a resounding NO. Regardless of the frequent moans on Pnet about flower shots, they continue to be one of my favourite subjects, and a challenge to come up with something "original" (whatever that means)

I'm so glad I took some time to dig into some images to find this gem! Unique and NO COLOR needed! Full of rhyhm and grace! Tremendous! 7/7

well done photo except one thing - the tree in background, which blends with part of the foreground flower; this confirms my opinion that the photographer is the most important part of photo - with mediocre camera make such a good shot; keep going that way Hanna!

Hanna, this is really cool. It's one of the best flower shots I've seen, and the best shot I've seen of yours. Super angle, great detail, and nice tonal range. I'd have been very, very happy to have taken this one. Congratulations on the great shot.

Pernilla, thank you for your comments and all the attention you have paid to my portfolio. Your compliments are very generous. I see you have a preference for b&w. Will you be posting photos of your own in the future?
