The main subject looks so good in this location with colors that complete each other, looks like guardian of the house.

Christal.

a great shot with great colors.  Larger view is definitely best.  Good to see you back on PN.  Hope you are enjoying retirement.

Garfield being Garfield and you humans can like it or not ;-).  Love it, the rustic background (with the repaired door where something gnawed it's way in) is an excellent contradiction to the soft cat and if cats will pose this one surely is.  Good stuff... Mike

Somehow he just fits right into that scene, like he was always mean't to be there, amongst the variety of wonderful textures and earthy colours.  Very well done Christal!

This little one looks intense.  I wouldn't like to be a mouse or chipmunk in that grass.  Great backdrop or he fits in well --

It is truly a perfect fit color wise and compositionally, as has been mentioned already. But the truth always bares repeating. Great capture.

I've been traveling and haven't been back to check here.  Thanks to all of you for your appreciation of this image!  I almost didn't post it because I didn't think the subject matter was all that compelling, but I did like the lighting, and I see that you did also. Thanks!
