My friend Tom (the climber here) agreed to come out of climbing

retirement to accompany me on a great little mountain climb in the

Cascades near my house. Equally import he agreed to wear a red t-shirt

I brought for photos!

Mike, you're right on the dinner - left over pizza and salad at my house later that night fit the bill. The climb was just about at Tom's limit - not sure he enjoyed the moment as much as I did, but hopefully the memories are good!

Thanks everyone. Patsy he is a good friend. He was one of the instructors in my first climbing course back when I was 12. I'll never forget watching him float up a section of rock no one else could touch that day. 48 years later he can still get it done, although we were both quite sore the next day!
