Yes. Sorry. When I critique, I assume that my opinions are expressing my taste and that that's implied in all critiques. That's why I don't come out and say it in each critique I provide. But I appreciate your making that clear because I don't ever think our opinions of photos are objective matters of fact.

You are right, but I did not meant opinions should be objective facts, but at least sometimes we should try to be objective. Maybe it's just me, but in my opinion the helpfulness and constructiveness of a critique is depending on the willingness of the criticizing person to be as objective as he can. If a critic only displays his impressions, without considering what the author wanted to convey with a photo, without being open for its message, there is no constructiveness, and the result can easily lead towards irrelevance.

Whatever, Zsolt. I gave you my opinion because I thought you might want to take a second look at the saturation of the colors, which I find false and not to add any meaning to the photo. You disagree. If that makes my critique irrelevant, so be it. If I loved your photo and simply said. "Wow, what a great photo!" I suspect you wouldn't think of that as irrelevant. It's one man's opinion. I think it looks kind of kitsch. You think the way you've processed it has meaning. Just take it for what it is. I figured you wanted the colors this saturated or you wouldn't have done it and I figured it was worth your taking a second look at and moderating the extremity of it. Just a suggestion, not an order. You can call it subjective or objective or whatever you'd like to make it irrelevant, since you can't seem to accept that I genuinely don't like it as is, but that's all rationalization. It's simply my take on the photo. Believe, plenty of people don't like my photos and I simply accept that as part of life. Sometimes, things they say get me to take a second look and make adjustments, sometimes on the photo they've commented on, sometimes when I'm working on future photos. Other times, what they say has little effect on me. But I appreciate all comments and take them as sincere and genuine and don't get into characterizing them as objective or not objective. I take them at face value.

it seems you didn't understood what I tried to say! but anyways, I never treated you with disrespect, and my answers were not insulting, not more than your critiques. just expressed my arguments and disagreement. sorry if you took it offensive, it was not meant to be. wish you all the best!
