I have been working on this one for my Grandchildren, Shaelyn and

Kael. . They lost their 'Poppa' a few months ago and whenever they

see a 'Dove', they feel their 'Poppa' is nearby. A number of years

ago, a very dear 'Great Auntie' passed away as well. Whenever a

Butterfly flies close to them they think of her. Is it possible? We will

never know for sure. It is the timing of the appearance of these

beautiful creatures from Nature that seems to mean the most. I am

just happy that during any day, they may be cheered up by seeing

a 'dove' or a 'butterfly'. If it helps them reconcile their feeling of 'loss' -

then it makes me happy as well. (sincere thanks for any visits and

thoughts expressed, Gail :)

I believe in that too, that when a butterfly visits a household it represent somebody dear to us that you depicted so well here in this image,Gail.Excellently done and beautifully rendered.I love the concept and the colour combination you chose. Congratulations!

Sincere appreciation for those lovely thoughts expressed Lester. I just sent this image to my Granddaughter and she had just finished texting me a 'thank you'. She spent the last week with me and it was such a lovely time shared with her. The Dove looked so peaceful. I think it is so beautiful that they find solace in Nature. It is something they identify easily with. I think we do as well. I did not know about 'when a Butterfly visits your house'...thank you for telling me. I know when I visited Butterfly World in Florida a few years ago, the first area we went into, the butterflies were flying all round us and even landing on us - it was such a magical experience. I am happy to see you back online again. I have to sign off now but will be back tomorrow.

Beautiful. Very much like a painting. On my monitor the petals are very bright compared to the balance of the image, you might try pulling them down just a little. The background works very well for this. Well done.  Charles

Very beautiful and peaceful image Gail. Your thoughts are if this helps them get over a loss then so be it, well that's very beautiful in its own right. A well put together image as Jack stated. Take care.

Best Always, Holger

Dear Gail, your words have the magic power to reach the more hidden part of peoples's hearts. And these sensations are amplified by your images. Great work of art. Congratulations. Max
