The oblique light of the first sun at dawn, highlights the wake traced

by the walking flamenco. The photo was taken from a hill overlooking

the lagoon of Cagliari at the distance of about one kilometer, thanks

for your comments.

Dear Giangiorgio, this shot is wonderful, full of matchless striking simplicity and beauty.

Looking at the image, at all that blue immensity of the surface... it seeps through senses sweetly. The placement of compositional elements is very successful.

The flamingo can move on freely at our gaze, leaving room on the right and on the top. I think, that beautiful lagoon of Cagliari has some hidden secret, maybe a river of gold underground captured :)

Congrats for knowing how to capture so well and from so far that way sun rays reflect on water surface, which gives a touch of color to this immense blue. The figure of the flamingo is equal to his reflection.

I like his silhouette and the wake behind, totally symmetrical. Symmetrically harmonious.

For me personally, the way this bird marks his passage accross the water... is an unmistakable sign of the power we ourselves may have of taking steps, decisions and making our own way, not in the lagoon, but in our lives. A similar path as we feel driven to walk in life, very interesting comparison.

The image is magnificent in every aspect.

A condensed moment in this beautiful artwork.

Congrats and kindest regards, Laura

Giangiorgio,

Congratulations for this truly minimalist shoot ! The composition and the processing of the capture is excellent, great choice for strong blue bg and for dark subject, reflecting so well the beauty of solitude and silence....

Congratulazioni !! Sette stelle !

Theodor
