eco_foto 0 Posted October 6, 2003 IMHO, I would not have used the wide angle for this shot,a 100mm.or higher lens would have been my selection, and made for a tighter image and stronger forground!!!! Link to comment
kyang 0 Posted October 7, 2003 This is not as great as your many other wonderful work. The middle layer is very nice. The foreground is not that strong. Link to comment
simon_meehan 0 Posted October 7, 2003 I beg to differ,I think the idea of sitting by the edge of this perferctly still body of water lends itself to the concept behind the picture.IE; THE TITLE. (Its more than likely where I would sit.) Any closer to the edge and we wouldn`t have enough of the texture of the landscape. It would be a partial loss of the mirror effect aswell, leaving just water with a distant range of mountains. I like the inclusion of the foreground(in case you hadn`t noticed) Good work again. All the best. S Link to comment
mindseye1 0 Posted October 7, 2003 But this is pretty dam close. Just spectacular! Paul Link to comment
thomas_breazeale1 0 Posted October 7, 2003 I think this is nice Atle but you need a little more color density to keep the overexposed feeling at bay.Simple yet effective. Link to comment
brianhamill 0 Posted October 8, 2003 I would not quibble over lenses here. The wide angle has captured the natural splendour of this scene, the sharpness, composition and colours are first class. Deserves nothing but praise - a classic landscape. Link to comment
dave_k1 0 Posted October 8, 2003 Calm Water, Nice reflection and the rocks leading you out into the distance...Beautiful Scene, Nicely Captured!! Link to comment
agaudio 0 Posted October 9, 2003 Love the pastel colors of the sky and reflections in the water. Interesting foreground elements, and I love how the sparse rocks lead you into the picture. Like a frog leaping from lily pad to lily pad. Link to comment
davidroossien 0 Posted January 4, 2004 I think this is a well designed photo with one flaw that is the reflection is brighter than the sky--particularly the large cloud. You can probably improve this with some small adjustments. Link to comment
