Very good shot, you blurred out the surrounding well to let the subject stand out. TFS!

Dear Hanan, this sunflower pecker is going to put on his boots with many sunflower seeds hmmmmm

It's true that in order to photograph animals in their environment, one requires a lot of patience and a little knowing of their customs. Being able to find them in vegetation. Many have their own natural camouflage costume, so it is easy to lose sight quickly.

You've differentiated foreground from background vegetation fantastically. The blur around helps focus on the protagonist.

Sharpness is really good and sometimes we do not have to close much of the frame, rather it may be interesting to show their habitat, like in this case, full of sunflowers.

I had always seen exposure time at 1 / xxx not in 10 / xxx,  I think it's the first time I see it, I'll read about that...

I think here you've known very well how to capture woodpecker in its proper position. I love it, congrats!

Kindest regards, Laura

Thank you for your kind reference.

As a mather of fact i was expecting for a gang of loudly parakeets to get closer to the blind that i was in.... and this guys know to feed from entire field, shameless careless, and loud!

Farmers use to fire shotgun in the air for expelling it before the loss get heavy. therefore i missed the "celebration" but i had a nice comfort thanks to this woodpecker that came after, showing some empathy for my lost time...

Kind regards!

Hanan
