I tried to use the dove as it is here used long before Herr Weber's remark! And the identity of the statues doesn't matter and I don't even know who they are supposed to represent!

The bird has a few meanings for me. Thankfully there will always be those who desire Peace, but they are often the ones that get 'shat' upon for their efforts. I like how you composed this image. I feel like the Peacemaker is walking out of the image.
