With her floats retracted. The photo is cropped by approximately 50%. I must apologize for the flatness of the sky. But I think it will make a reasonable documentary print.

Nice, interesting and well done series!!!

I don't think the flatness of the sky detracts from the image at all, in fact it goes a long way to ensuring that the viewers attention is focused on the very fine detail and sharpness of the plane. I really like the way we can see the  "whir" of the props, it brings so much life to the image!

Is very kind of you to comment on this photo. The old girl is flying in a 'cloud soup' in this frame as as you pointed out the props are worth noting as I shot this at the relatively slow shutter speed of 125th of a second.
