Sight

Idea is quite original. Composition is disputable. Simplest variant (in good sense) is square around circle (without corner in the frame). Why shadow was included? If so, is must be crisp. Why we need corner here? Why so many space below?

I guess, author has another variants. This is not the best.

Sergei.  I disagree with Serge.  I think the composition is interesting.  I think it is interesting how the corner divides the background into two asymmetrically sized gray panels.  I also like that the model is slightly off center on both axes but not obviously so.  However, the thing that really strikes me is the framing of the eye.  I don't think the shadow detracts and actually compliments the subtle tonal range in the photograph.  Cool.  Dana...

I too disagree with Serge Ivanov on every count. The shadow is interesting and adds drama to the image. The corner is helpful in giving the perspective, and the space below the figure adds the necessary volume. Moreover, the composition is original, well conceived and not in the least disputable.  An enjoyable image, thank you.

I realize all reasons about composition. Yes, it's more sophisticated than trivial square around circle. And I appreciate this.

I'd like to say, that this complicity do not form "complete whole", single image.
