I took this canoeist at dawn, I was struck by the golden yellow color

of the trails illuminated by the first light of dawn in contrast with

the blue sea, the diagonal route seemed perfect, Thanks for your comments

Wonderful capture! The lighting is perfect and the framing just captures the essence of this image. This is a keeper!

I saw the thumbnail before your title and in the thumbnail the canoeist was not clear. At first I thought I was looking at the wreckage of a plane. An interesting shot.

Very nice. If this was mine, I would like to try flip it horizontally, to see if it would look better if the movement would start from upper left corner. It could also look good as a b&w version, but then you would lose those golden water patterns, which are very nice.

Is true what you said that this golden trail in contrast with blue of water is eyes catching.Very well observed by you and composed.

Dear Giangiorgio, I really like the simile makes by Tom H, that it seems the legs of some insect standing in water.

The image has an implied movement and even is well marked by trails in the water, but ... to me it suggests "stillness", a great tranquility and it may be because the rest of the surface, though textured, is very quiet.

Where does all that gold underwater come? (*_*) where water is agitated, magically revels a striking golden underground layer.

When I look at your images of the lagoon, I already search for gold colour. That color is yours Giangiorgio, like a seal of your identity.

An image with a powerful diagonal and beautiful texture of water. I find the movement isn't cut, just the forms fit the diagonal and there's still sufficient space left.

Warm regards, Laura

pd. I have received your book today, I have received it this morning. It's impressive, wonderful, very good print quality and the content is a gem: your photographic eye!

I've sent e-mail. Check it. Thank you very much indeed :)

Love the rings of water from the oars hitting the water, Giangiorgio. Wonderful colors and presentation. Best regards, Paul.
