We have a few doves that waken me in the morning. They are rather plain yet beautiful birds. I think they mate for life-or at least are very dedicated to each other during the season. Beautiful capture Pierre!

I like a lot the colours of the sky as background matching with the dove;

it looks like he is emerging from the far away sky; maybe he has a message to deliver for us, but for the moment he is resting on the rusty iron bar;

very clear and clean image for the front plan;

the eye is looking exactly to the spectator ,you have no escape of his vigilant look

The master magician is at it again.  This time, he managed to levitate way up in the sky a poor, helpless dove perched on a rusty rod.  The dove is a symbol of peace; yet this one looks really scared.  Its feet are holding on for dear life.

Hello Pierre,  here we call these birds "Cuculí" for their singing. I like the sharpness in the dove, and the dramatic sky background, which certainly has the same colors as the bird.
