GailAnthonyHarmer 5 Posted June 16, 2015 We have a few doves that waken me in the morning. They are rather plain yet beautiful birds. I think they mate for life-or at least are very dedicated to each other during the season. Beautiful capture Pierre! Link to comment
Guest Guest Posted June 17, 2015 hey Pierre I like a lot the colours of the sky as background matching with the dove; it looks like he is emerging from the far away sky; maybe he has a message to deliver for us, but for the moment he is resting on the rusty iron bar; very clear and clean image for the front plan;the eye is looking exactly to the spectator ,you have no escape of his vigilant lookkeep going ! hyde 0 Posted June 17, 2015 An intriguing image. There is a dreamy quality to the colour of the bird, and in the eye a strange communion with the observer. Best regards. Link to comment
michaellinder 16,611 Posted June 18, 2015 The master magician is at it again. This time, he managed to levitate way up in the sky a poor, helpless dove perched on a rusty rod. The dove is a symbol of peace; yet this one looks really scared. Its feet are holding on for dear life. My best, michael Link to comment

charo 3 Posted June 18, 2015 Hello Pierre, here we call these birds "Cuculí" for their singing. I like the sharpness in the dove, and the dramatic sky background, which certainly has the same colors as the bird.Good work!Kind Regards,Rosario. Link to comment
Pierre Dumas 260 Posted June 18, 2015 Herr Weber, I would have been honored if it was my Dove! Thank you, Rosario, We call them Gugutka because they do: Gu, Gu, gu...At least I think so, ha! Cheers to that PDE Link to comment
FranzWeber 368 Posted June 18, 2015 stolen=not honored.Did you find my new Folder "nudes" with the sharpest pic seen in photo.net ever, ever, ever? Link to comment
Pierre Dumas 260 Posted June 18, 2015 No, sir, I'm not spying on you, ha! How about sending me a link or something like that! Seriously, there is only one picture in your folder called nudes and that one has nothing to do with nudity! Cheers PDE Link to comment

Pierre Dumas 260 Posted June 19, 2015 My Google translate tells me that it means solid shoes and Bing says extended shoes, Franz! Is there any other meaning possible? PDE Link to comment
sarah_mcnulty 5 Posted June 19, 2015 Hi Pierre, very well seen and captured. As Rosario has pointed out you have the same colours in the sky as well as the Dove! The Dove does look a bit precarious perched on that narrow bar! Nice lighting and details. Best wishes. Sarah. Link to comment
Pierre Dumas 260 Posted June 19, 2015 Welcome and thank you, Sarah! Yes, I noticed that remark, I just tried to add fitting color dramatic sky to make the whole thing less banal! The dove doesn't mind the narrow bar, he minds me taking picture of him from 80cm! Cheers PDE Link to comment
Pierre Dumas 260 Posted June 20, 2015 Thank you, pal! You are teaching me words at old age! Cheers to that PDE Link to comment
