Christal,

Good composition of this old building.  I bet it has interesting stories / history.  Looks like somebody has been by with a tractor mower.

Yes, I think it's an interesting building also.  We took a drive in the country and found it.  I'd love to return here when there are better skies!  :-)  Thanks....glad you like it!

I'm thinking it's a church or maybe a really expensive one-room school.  Very interesting and a good find... Mike

Warren, it got my mind wondering as well!  I plan to check with the county to see what the history is behind this building.  Mike, I think you may be right about the 1-room school house.  I'm kinda 'in' to 1-room school houses.....there are MANY in Montana because it's such a huge state with sparsely populated areas.  I've done a little research on them, but can't find any still operating here in Indiana.  Thanks to you both!

Very nice shot that appeals to my curiosity. I think you've done a great job with the sky. I notice the fields behind the structure are gold while the grass nearby is green and mowed so it appears someone is taking care of this property. Maybe it used to be a caretakers cottage on the property. Interesting capture. Thank you for sharing. :)

Quite beautiful, nicely captured and processed.

What a wonderful find. I would have had fun 'working' this scene including interior shots. There might have been some hesitancy on my part since Trisha has observed that the grass has been mowed and standing at your location might be considered as trespassing.

The bright colors of the building certainly keeps me attracted to the building and as I mentioned, I like the original.  Thinking aloud, I wonder if I would have gone with a sepia Black and white version.

Many choices are available re composition, processing, etc and that can be a blessing or befuddling.

All the best,
