The "sweetest" bokeh i have ever seen Dimitri (is it lense or software made?). Your background is a standalone piece of art. Ζήτω η Άνοιξη!!!

It is exactly as you see it Mihali, straight from the camera. I just corrected the levels a bit and cropped it to this format,I did not touch the hue and saturation palette either.

Thank you very much for your enthusiastic and spontaneous appreciation.

Best.

The effect is stunning and all the better for being none manipulated. I think reds and yellows can be such elusive colours to capture accurately yet you have achieved this with such artistic flair and expression. I also like the kind of diagonal composition of foreground / background.

Beautifully done my friend!

Thank you. The praise really is due to that old Nikon lens that performs like this giving an exquisite creaminess to the background often missed by other lenses. The settings I used are ideal for this lens, yes it is slow, heavy and it has not got VR but if the light is good you can get excellent results, in this instance I could use a speed of 4000 th. of a sec. with a low ISO while keeping the aperture wide open. I normally use aperture priority in order to control the depth of field as much as poss. I am glad that you like it and especially that you like my crop. The clear foreground forming a diagonal with the blurred background, which you spotted.

Thanks again for your visit my friend and for your excellent comment.
