I took a fashion workshop, mostly to learn about lighting. They hired models, and I'll

be posting some of my images of them over the next few days. I'd love your thoughts

on them individually and collectively. I've never done any fashion portrait work before.

I like this shot in principle. In particular, left armpit looks not so good. And this black something (bag?) in not necessary here.

Thanks so much for your constructive comments.  I can certainly clean up the armpit, which I should have noticed.  As for the black thing.....well, that was actually a leather vest, a garment that was part of her outfit, so it wasn't coming off.  :-)  You can't tell it here, but it was actually kind of cute. 

Love this one, laughing eyes matches the wonderful smile : - )

Christal I like how you've presented this. The lights' great and the tones come through very nicely. Yes there is something awkward about the armpit but not really a big deal. But the models eyes and smile are excellent, as Alf noted earlier. Very goo.

So many models these days like the serious look.....even scowling!  I don't get it.  This was a lovely young lady, and I was happy to get a few shots of her with an uplifting mood.  Thank you all for your input.
