Hi, welcome to Istanbul, and I waved back.

Why this lady was waving to me, a passenger on a train, is another

story, because every train that goes in and out of the main station

on the European side of Istanbul goes past her window. I did not see

it at the time, but there is a minaret reflected in the window, so it

must be Turkey. Perhaps my mind was on automatic.
