krpradu 125 Posted May 27, 2015 This summer I have in the garden only one columbine,I think winter coldness damaged part of them.I like this different petals shapes of this flower with those like ''horns'' upper parts. Link to comment
lauramarco 0 Posted May 27, 2015 Dear Radu, I was looking at your image carefully, but suddenly something revels in it and everything came like a flash to mind. The withered petals of this variety you're showing us (I did not know), they carry me years ago when I was studying secondary; I had a professor who was explaining a novel ... and to address the issue of the protagonist, a woman mistreated by life, abused by all and for all, a lot by men ... then written prose made a comparison between her intimate lips (her sex) and a faded flower petals, a faded rose he said :)I can tell you that the more the teacher insisted on comparing this issue, women attending class, we wore very, very embarrassed, we wore red coloredNow since my adulthood, I find it was a very beautiful and apt, nice comparison. These petals withered have recalled me this story. Your presentation is very well done, compositionally, you leave free space on the left and background not totally black, gives somehow birth and light to this buds and flower. Very interesting and high quality, as all your work. Congrats, Radu Kindest regards, Laura. Link to comment
gregverena 343 Posted May 27, 2015 Radu,Interesting enough, this variety of columbine is the only one surviving in our garden! Must be very hardy. You captured it well, since it is not easy to get this very dark bloom to show up well. Link to comment
