Kate, with speedlight

I was working with Kate yesterday and on the way to another part of

the building we were in I noticed this spot. We first shot some there

just with natural light. I realized that what I saw thru my viewfinder

was not translating into photos, so I used a speedlight to light her

and get closer to what I was seeing with my naked eyes. It worked

pretty well. The speedlight was controlled with a set of Yougnuo

radio triggers with TTL in use.

Chuck.  Great shot and thanks for the lighting insight (was the flash off camera?).  I like the tone and grittiness of the image.  I also like the word play.  The way I see it, most editorial work shouts "like me" and the "lock me" is a great pun/play.  Cool.  Dana...

I used the flash off camera and used Yongnuo brand radio triggers to control it.

An off camera flash is always handy to have and in this case my have been your best friend. The image turned out great, I the sheen on her skin.
