Wayne Sadler 567 Posted May 14, 2015 For the last several years turkeys have roamed my neighborhood even strutting in the streets with little fear of cars or people. Lately I’ve noticed them roaming in flocks of about 8 to 10 with one apparent Tom turkey displaying. I guess, even with multiple females in his harem, the tom knows it is the female who does the choosing. Comments and critique appreciated. Link to comment

Wayne Sadler 567 Posted May 15, 2015 Patsy,Many thanks. Your animal training techniques must be rubbing off on me. (Even at a distance of 40 meters, they were totally aware of my presence.) Link to comment

michaellinder 16,611 Posted December 18, 2015 An uninitiated soul might think that you've photographed a rare turkey hybrid - one with two necks and heads. Please pardon the sarcasm; it's a reflection of my level of fatigue. In any case, this is an extraordinary capture. The bird on the left seems to be at high alert, while the other seems quite relaxed. Really sharp detail in the feathers, spot on color treatment, and excellent tonal range all go a long way to make the image work. Link to comment
rjmelone 3 Posted June 2, 2016 Nicely composed portrait of the pair Wayne! I really their pose and the back-light on the rear ones feathers! Link to comment
