Here's a case where I think a stop down in exposure might have worked well. As I look at that strong highlight on the back wall, it's what's called burned out, where it seems you've lost all detail in the wall. One of the many nice things about this shot is all the different textures, from smooth to rough, that your eye saw. So losing that texture on the back wall may not work well for this photo. And, by stopping down to decrease the light in that area, the foreground would naturally get a little darker, which would not be a problem and which might actually add some mood and atmosphere. I like the bike and the pink house with green windows peaking out at me from the background.
