This is a good representation of the colorful life in the Dominica.

I like all the pwer lines spreading about like spider webs.

Jim that's an issue we have all come across at some time or another as photographers. I'm with Tony and think you've pulled off a good image here. An interesting contrast.

Thanks guys. I thought the wires and poles worked in this case and I'm ecstatic to find that you concur! 

The lighting is interesting - there is almost a subdued golden hue that I find very pleasing.  The electrical lines really add interest. I am amazed at the massive amounts of connections in many of these towns in the Islands. The balconies are really pretty despite what I imagine is quite a bit of Poverty in this place. Dominica is one of the Islands I have always been interested. (I think that is where a lot of Pirates of The Caribbean was filmed). Nice work Jim!
