A Mother's Love

This mother welcomed me shooting her and her child. I was happy to capture this

moment.

Yeah, this is perfect and your choice to use b/w was a good one.  The distracting color is removed and we're left to enjoy the event.  Really superb... Mike

Thank you both!  I know I shouldn't pay attention to ratings, but I don't understand why the ratings weren't higher for this.  I'm proud of the image, but i think it's because I don't shoot this kind of stuff very often.  I feel intimidated shooting strangers (not in this instance tho'), and I want to get better at street photography.  This is finally one I took that I thought worked, and there is an emotional component to it, which I love.  I'm glad you guys appreciate it because it doesn't seem like anyone else was too excited about it!  :-)

Ratings = futility!  Ignore them unless the reviewer offers an explanatory comment... Mike

Touching beyond words!   This image really 'touched' me as a Mom/Person.  What mom wouldn't be touched by this image?  There is no bond like the one between a mother and her child.  No words to truly express the unconditional love...
