This setting reminds me of our "Farmer's Markets" where you can buy directly from the farmer.  Alas, not as common as it used to be.  The bright fruit stand leads us right to that smile ;-)... Mike

I just love markets and they are still plenty in Europe but unfortunately they are loosing ground to the big supermarkets...We must support them as much as possible. Thanks very much for making the time.

We have Farmers Markets in most towns and cities but one of the most popular is Kensington Market in Toronto. You will see many photos in Vlad K's Portfolio. It seems to have a 'life of it's own'. Musicians and street performers are common there all year round.  This would have been so interesting to explore - not to mention 'delicioius'!! The lady in 'Alfonso' has a wonderful smile - I imagine she was very friendly. I hope you had a great vacation there Dimitris!
