Everything Goes Better With Dill - (enlarge)

Once again I am back in my neighbor Marg's Garden. On a summer

afternoon it is a Symphony of colour, texture, lovely aromas and the

sounds of nature. The sun filters through the Dill as insects dance in

it's warmth. I can't think of a more lovely place to be on a Summer

afternoon. (any visits and thoughts shared are always appreciated,

Beautifully photographed poppy. Shooting wide open brings the eye to the detail on petal and stem but leaves us plenty of delicious red softness. The background dill offers us an interesting contrasting form but the simple green/yellow works with the stem of the poppy and serves to enhance the experience of the subject.

Colors contrast is so good here Gail and mix of a poppy petal flower with dill is excellent idea.I know what it is from the beginning because I have dill in the garden and is so good in the kitchen for different foods.Coming back to this photo I like how petal details are seen and same time where need it is soft,the hair on the strain a plus to this and first eye contact with poppy is enhances by splendid fresh bg.Compliments for an excellent job you did here.
