This image is a remarkable exercise of aesthetics, almost a mind game, the narrow color palette and the fluid shapes of the subject are a must. I like it.

I watched the movie 'The Life of Pi' for the first time Saturday evening. While this boat is very different, I immediately thought of the movie. The darkness surrounding the boat  speaks to me of Isolation. There is no movement of the boat that I can actually see....yet despite it all, a story is here. Just like the movie - it is all up to whatever interpretation the 'viewer' prefers. I really like this image because it offers us a choice. I find the 'mast' very interesting as well - for me it reminds me of 'the cross', and because of that, we all have a 'choice' to be surrounded by light or darkness.
