Pierre, criticizing this - for you - straight-forward presentation would hardly be critical of your beloved Germany!

Hi, Rajat!

I don't think I understood what you said and neither that you quite understood what I said, ha, ha, ha!

It is not my beloved Germany, but BRD NRW, which is quite something else, it is just one state in Germany and I forgot to add the beloved region of it Kreiss Lippe, which was my major mistake! Don't ever be mislead by Google translate, by the way!

Thank you for your visit and comment!

PD, I too am from Germany. Bremerhaven, where I was born is not to far from your area. I always relish the opportunity to see images from places near my homeland. As much as I like your rendering of the homes there, I would also love to see the original and any others like it. Danke schon mein freund, Holger

Holger,

I didn't say I was from there, Germany I mean! It is only the Kreiss Lippe that is my beloved place (region)! In the years 1986 and 1988 I spent couple of weeks there (Detmold exactly) and I was riding my bicycle with my photo bag around, Lemgo, Lage...etc!

Thank you for your comment!

This has a bit of a 'funky' feel to it Pierre. I almost expect someone to emerge from the house with longish hair, a Peace symbol around his neck, and bell bottom jeans....very 'cool' these homes in your 'village'!! :) (ps I am not referring to Germany...I do not know anything of this place - so my view comes from a place when I had long hair to my waist, bell bottom jeans, a Peace necklace, suede fringed vest and platform shoes....oh yes, rose coloured glasses....those were the days!!)

Hi Pierre,

Wow...wonderful creative work of art with magical colors & details that only you could create.  I hope that makes up for me being late to the party again.  Take care, Patsy

Welcome and thank you, Gail!

I know what makes you think of that, the flowers which were there, this picture is (wrongly) manipulated only in the matter of the painting looking filter!

Not late, Patsy!

But this isn't something that only I could make! Only a snapshot with filter, ha!

Thank you

You've presented these buildings honestly, showing their wear and tear.  But there is also an inherent optimism - sunflowers peeking through windows (one actually smiling).  All this occurs under a beautifully painted sky.  In general, I could just soak in the vivid color and be quite happy with that.

My best,

michael

Michael,

This is just a snapshot passed through a filter, nothing else! My muse has forsaken me long time ago!

Thank you for your kind critique!

Best regards

Ciaomau

Pietro, il incantato con la tua poesia

What a pleasant surprise! Dear Tamara!

I just woke up and you made my day, Tamara! So happy to see you! Everybody moved to Facebook, this place is almost deserted!

I hope all will return one day or maybe even sooner!

Thank you for making my day!
