The way the midday sun was hitting it made the big block visibly translucent: I bumped up the saturation and darkened the surroundings to enhance this.Not real but I am glad you like.

Or Scotch on the rocks! I am afraid both the tea and the whiskey would taste a little salty with chips from this block.We will never find out as this and all the other blocks which I shot in these last series have all disappeared overnight when the high tide and strong winds cleaned this stretch of beach giving on the open sea....but there is still plenty of ice left in the harbour,so much in fact that the lobster & crab seasons will be delayed from their scheduled 1st May opening.Thank you again for looking in and for the write.
