Broken Hearts? I am sure they exist every moment of every day.

There are so many reasons why someone may be suffering from

a 'broken heart' - Physical or Emotional. I think it is one of the 'first

quick acts of the Human Heart' to seek solace, comfort, and for

some, 'distraction' from this human condition. Hopefully, solace is

found over time. Hopefully, there are those who do not 'drown' in

this 'physical and emotional' sorrow. No one should be disabled by

a 'broken heart'. We do have the ability to mend, seek help, and

even reach out to others - go beyond our own sorrow to help others

in need. Perhaps this is one way to 'journey' towards healing.

(comments and visits always welcome with thanks, Gail :)

Gail,

Very nice post-processing and as usual you are very creative.  Many thanks for commenting on my owl and deer photos.  The baby owls should be able to fly in about another week.

Very powerful image. Perfect composition and I absolutely low how you placed the most lighted area.

Many thanks for your positive remarks about this composition Bill. It almost seems sad that the Baby Owls will be flying soon - only because they will be out of sight for you to take images of.

I think this is one of your best Gail. It "oozes" emotion! I love the color tones and the soft focus. Just marvelous!
