Yes Giangiorgio,the kingfisher drains water swallowed after dive by shaking its head from side to side.it is so fast in the air barely notice unless it is frozen like here.if it comes out with a catch it shakes  the head on a solid rest and also beat the fish against the rest in order to paralyze it and swallow after.
