krpradu 125 Posted April 7, 2015 By night nature got a new white blanket. This is 5 minutes from my house on a front hill, imagine that in lower part of this image is a clearing with lot of wild crocus. After what forecast says from this will be +15*C in two days, conclusion is that as always nature is powerful and we just must adapt to this. lauramarco 0 Posted April 7, 2015 Dear Radu, I'm taking a cold beer and a sandwich ... and looking at your image and while the drink was getting down my throat, I felt a chill, a shiverrrr.I can not imagine how you can stand so much cold, really ... here we had flowered tres Blossom) in late February, even in the middle of February, I have today 20ºC indoors, unheated, with windows open :) Not for giving "envy" :) is that really, I admire ... because I think I could not live in such cold places. The image looks like a cake full of Glassé sugar, I'm thinking about my dessert ... Very good sharpness and management of highlights, good color of white in snow, great exposure. Congrats, Radu Kindest regards, Laura Link to comment
gregverena 336 Posted April 7, 2015 This would be wonderful if it were December or January.... but April? We experience great temperature fluctuations too, always within a short time. At the moment we are supposed to expect 5 days of rain, but warm temperatures. Who knows what's next? Link to comment
GailAnthonyHarmer 5 Posted April 8, 2015 Yes, we always get snow in April. We are to have an Ice storm overnight and perhaps power outages. This shot is so beautiful and reminds us that Nature does give us some 'beauty' along with the cold. I hope the crocus are soon peeping above the snow again! Link to comment
thadley 10 Posted April 10, 2015 It is pretty but it is time for it to go away. Beautiful shot - almost looks like a B&W. Link to comment
