new_zealand_landscapes 0 Posted April 7, 2015 Birdlings flat is a strange open space of sand dunes and red grasses on volcanic sand. The beach has precious stones and holds back lake Ellesmere/ Te Waihora. This was taken at twilight after a North west arch, a cloud particular to New Zealand. Link to comment
